Our focus:

cochlear implants

From inception we have focused on raising awareness and funds for cochlear implants.  Now we are about to take the next step.

Since our founding in 2013, Jacob’s Ride has arranged and participated in over 200 events, addressing over 10,000 individuals, and spreading the awareness of cochlear implants and helping secure funding for several individuals getting their first cochlear implant. Now we are directly accepting applications, participating in the screening and selection process.

We are teamed with other cochlear implant charities to help make surgeries possible for those without any health insurance.  Together with these other charities, we hope to make surgery possible for those who would otherwise not be able to afford it.

Through these activities, and the generosity of our supporters, Jacob’s Ride has provided financial assistance for over one dozen cochlear implant recipients.

become a sponsor

As a Jacob's Ride Sponsor, you can help make hearing possible for babies who are born deaf, as well as children who become deaf due to illness, injury, or developmental issues. With a cochlear implant, they can obtain their oral skills and be mainstreamed. You can also make it possible for late-deafened adults to remain in the workforce and support themselves and their families. Aside from these rich rewards, Sponsors will also get substantial positive visibility locally and nationally.
